Pumpkin Patch '08

Last week we took Gabe to the Pumpkin Patch on Lake Morton again and it was MUCH different then last year. He ran wild most of the time and we had a time getting a good shot of him or us as a family. It was still fun but way to many people and things to look at to expect a 16 month old to focus on sitting still for Mommy!!

These were just some of the cute pictures I got while snapping the camera incessantly. Also here are some of our funny family shots in trying to get just one that was acceptable!!

Charles' 2nd Birthday!!

Charles had his 2nd birthday about 2 weeks ago (today is his actual birthday). It was a dirt party and the kids had so much fun!! I really wasn't sure what Gabe would do but he jumped right in and started digging in the dirt.

Somehow I ended up with no pictures of presents being opened but probably because I was trying to keep Gabe from trying to open them for Charles'. He got lots of cool stuff though!!

It was really a neat idea for a child's party and something different. I will have to keep it in mind as I am going to have 2 boys of my own to throw parties for.

Happy Birthday Charles, we love you!!!

Rayhawk!

Once the Rays won the ALCS Gabe got a Rayhawk like his Daddy. It actually was really cute and Pop Pop would even spike it for Gabe which was really, really cute!!! Gabe loves to shout "Go Rays!" and cheer on his team.

I would have left it in for a while but after the lose last night Michael and Gabe want a haircut. Mommy the barber will be busy tonight!!

Doctor Visit Update

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Mammel and all is well. I gained no weight since my last visit but my belly did get 4 1/2 cm bigger from my last visit. This is larger then the average but that really doesn't matter. He said if I was gaining a ton of weight then he may be concerned but I'm not. He said it mostly just means the baby is a little larger then average himself.
I am already preparing for Gavin to much larger then Gabe was.
No other news to report, only that at my next appointment I have to do the sugar test. Hopefully that will come out fine.
