Growing Belly

I am now about 10 1/2 weeks and I can not believe how fast my belly is growing. Michael loves to hug and kiss my new big bellyand say "Hi" to the baby, it's so sweet! I did go to the doctor again on Tuesday for my second visit with Dr.Mammel. I got to hear the babies heartbeat for the first time and it was so amazing, I even teared up a little bit. They said that it was great they could hear the heartbeat with the external monitor so early on. Dr.Mammel said they baby must really be growing big and strong. I had also lost 7 lbs since my last visit 4 weeks ago, so it was obvious how sick I have been. I am hoping that the nausea will all be passing in the next couple weeks. My next apptointment is on Dec. 19 then the next 3 weeks after that, at which point I will be 16 weeks. We are hoping that we can talk Dr.Mammel into going ahead and doing the sonogram then so we can find out the sex of the baby. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

He is handsome!

We went over to Orlando today with Gigi and PopPop to visit Aaron, Angela, and Charlie!! We had such a good time, he is the sweetest little boy I ever met. He was very alert before we went to lunch, checking us out big time. When Uncle Mikey held him he held onto his thumb tight. Then when we got back from lunch it was nap time and PopPop and I got some good napping time with the boy!! I just can't get over what a handsome boy he is, I love my nephew so much!!!

Good Practice

On Sunday night Michael and I got to babysit Emma while Alex took Mandy out for her birthday!!
It was good practice and we had tons of fun. Emma loves playing with the doggies and getting into everything she isn't supposed to get. Uncle Mikey loved playing and sharing his oranges with her. He helped her walk all over the house too!! We just love spending time with our adorable neice!!

Baby Adams First Picture

Well Michael and I went to our first OB appointment on Tues, the 31st of October. We (well Me) are seeing Dr. James Mammel. Yes it is a silly name but he was very nice, I really like him. The baby is growing perfectly he said and everything looks great. We could see his heart beat on the monitor but we could not hear it yet. Dr. Mammel said that at my next appointment on Nov. 28th he would do another sonogram so we could hear that heart beat. The baby is between the two star looking things, the head at the top one and then the little body. He has officially set that due date for June 26th. I will be counting the days!!

We're Pregnant!!

Well this has to be some of the most unattractive pictures of me ever taken but I am showing you anyways. I hadn't been feeling real great for a week or so, so we kind of had an idea that I might be. We had bought some tests so finally when we woke up that Saturday morning Michael was begging me to take a test so we could know for sure. Before I could even lay the test back down on the counter it had two bright pink lines. It was surprising but we were more excited than you can imagine!!

The Puppies

We have two adorable doggies Bruiser and Foxy Roxy. We have had Bruiser since the end of January and he is about 1 1/2 years old. When I got him from the SPCA he had no hair practically and I had to nurse him back to health. Now he has beautiful chocolate colored hair and is as crazy as can be. Then we have Foxy who we got only a couple days after closing on the house, she is about 1 year old. She is our big snuggle bug.

Home

This is our home. We purchased it on August 15 of this year. The whole thing was the biggest mess but in the end it was well worth it. We love the house so much. It has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, beautiful hardwood floors throughout. There is also a huge room on the back of the house which we call the "Man Room" we ahve all our workout equipment in there and all of Michael's baseball things decorating it. We have a nice backyard with a pool and screened patio. We just love our home.

Our First Blog

Well my name is Aimee Adams and I have an amazing husband Michael. We got married on September 2nd of this year. The wedding was absolutely amazing and our honeymoon was perfect. We just found out about 2 weeks ago that we were pregnant and we are super excited!! My Dad is the one who told me that we should start our own blog page like both of my sister-in-laws do to keep everyone up to date on everything that is happening in our crazy lives, so here we go...
