10 months

Ok so this picture makes him look a little crazy but you can see his top teeth and I thought that was really cute!! I really can't believe he is already 10 months it seems crazy to already be planning his 1st birthday!!! The picturing taking in the glider has gotten harder then ever and he just want to stand up.

He has really turned into quite the goofball and loves teasing you!!! He is walking all over the house but then he doesn't do it quite as much when he goes places. I did get a video of him walking yesterday, it's little ruff because he was walking towards me and I was trying to back up. I will still try and get a better one of him soon. He can make it from the couch all the way to the entertainment stand, which is about 11 feet.

He is about to have 6 teeth as well, the 4th top on is working on getting through and making Gabe a little sick while it happens (I haven't missed the spit-up at all)!!

We have also rearranged his room to that he has more play area in his room and we moved a bunch of toys in there. Once I get it better situated I will take some pictures!

Finally!

The pool finally was warm enough last Saturday that we got to go swimming!!!
Last year Gabe was so small and I was worried about taking him in the pool very much, so we didn't really! I was really worried that he might not like it for whatever reason, but he loved it!! He never acted like it was too cold or anything he was just excited!!

He really liked it and didn't mind seating in the floaty seat (Emma's old seat) most of the time, he even floated down to the deep end all by himself!! After the cold fronts pass and it warms up better again, it will be a nice thing for Mommy and Gabe to do during the day!

In the next video please ignore me in a 2-piece, I was only wearing that because it was just the 3 of us at home. It is scary just don't look!!

SuperMan!!!

Michael insisted on buying these pajamas before Gabe was even born even though they were a 2T, the smallest size they came in. Gabe has just now started wearing them and they are so cute! He doesn't sleep with the cape on, we velcro it on in the morning!!
When Gabe was born Gigi and Pop Pop bought this huge gate for us and we have really started using it a lot!! We use it to keep the dogs off the rug (we took the mats up) and Gabe confined!!
This is him figuring out how to escape from the Gabe, he has since stopped doing that!! He is very smart and amazes me everyday!!

Handsome Man

We had Gabe's pictures taken at JCPenney a couple weeks ago for some 9 month professional shots and once again I am amazed at how well he does. He is such a cute kid!!
My little man is really growing up and is on the verge of walking. This past Saturday Emma was over and must have really inspired him because since then he has been trying to walk everywhere. He can make it 3-4 feet sometimes but then others he only goes a couple steps. We work on it daily but it's still really early for him to be walking so we are trying not to rush it.

This was Gabe's Easter outfit that he had his picture taken in, Gigi and Pop Pop got it for him.
I couldn't believe it when Michael picked out the lavender shirt, out of blues, yellows and greens but I loved it. The outfit makes him look very grown-up, it is really cute!!
He has also really started talking a lot!!! I am sure he knows what is is talking about but I have no clue!! We always say "Yea!" when he claps and yesterday when he was clapping I think he was trying to say it too. It sounded more like "day" but it was really cute!!
Gabe is now off baby food, he has the snacks and stuff by Gerber for real meals he has whatever we have!! He loves being a big boy and loves all the cool big kid food now!!

I will let you know right now that the thumb sucking picture was not Mommy's idea, it was the photographers!! It has turned into a lot more than doing it just when he's tired but oh well!!
Gabe has also learned how to play peek-a-boo and it is really funny!! Sometimes he will start laughing before he uncovers his face and it really cute. He has also started teasing, he will hold something out to you then when you go to take it he pulls it back. He will do it for as long as you will and he thinks he is really funny!!
Well if you want any pictures of him let me know which you like and in what size and I will print them for you.
I will try to get better at posting more but I hardly take pictures because I am busy with other things, I will do my best though.

Big Boy!!

As most of you know we have a pool, but it still isn't quite warm enough to swim in yet. So Gabe has a small pool he plays in but for some reason he had other ideas the other day when he got in.All he wanted to do was play with the hose and he had a ball. I think he would have played with that hose for an hour if I would have let him. Then he noticed the big pool and was wanting to get in it. I was dunking his legs and in and he thought that was really funny!!!

He has also gotten were he really loves watching cartoons, he just insists on standing right at the t.v when he watches. He will usually only stand there for about 5 minutes then he walks away but will come back again. His favorite thing is "Cho-Cho Soul" still that is a 3 minute little music thing that comes on between shows on Disney.

My favorite thing about this picture is the p.j pants leg, one is rolled up to his knee and the other is still down. Too funny!!!

Gabe learned to wave and he actually says something that sounds almost like "bye, bye" while he's waving. He also learned how to clap the next day and that's what he really likes doing more now. If you say "YEA!!!" he will clap for you!!

Here are some action shots of Gabe clapping!!!

Check-Up Update

Gabe went to the doctor this morning for his 9 month check-up. He weighed in at 20 lbs. and 4 ozs. and 30 inches tall. For weight he is in the 45% and height he is in the 92%, our tall boy!!!
Dr. Ghayal couldn't believe he was already letting go trying to walk, he's so smart. Gabe can also start having stage 3 foods now and pretty much anything else he wants. He didn't have to get the normal shots but they did have to take his blood in the lab for a test. I thought he was going to throw a fit but he actually never cried and just wanted to see what the lady was doing while she was squeezing his finger. They were so proud of him she gave him a little stuffed turtle but he was more worried about getting the band-aids off!! He also has his 5th and 6th teeth coming through, the ones on either side of his top middle teeth.
Those are his new stats, enjoy!!
