Potty Time

Last week when Gabe woke up one morning when I went to change his diaper and clothes I just asked him if he wanted to go pee pee on the potty. He said "pee pee potty" and started running to our bathroom, I put him on the potty and he peed!!! I was shocked so for the last week he has been using the potty some he hasn't been telling me he needs to go but I can ask him anytime if he wants to go try and he will go sit on the potty. Pretty much every time you take him he will pee pee. On Monday night he was standing up at the TV and I saw him grab at his butt and then he spun around and said "poo poo" so Michael ran him to the bathroom. He had already started to go but finished in the potty!!! We are really proud of him!! It seems really early for him to be trying but if he wants to I'm going along with it. At this point he isn't telling me I have to ask him so I am thinking that maybe this weekend we will buy some undies and see what happens. Maybe if he has an accident in the undies he will try a little harder to notice what he is doing. He is just growing up so fast!!!
