Good Grief!!

Well Gabe has been falling down ever since Christmas when he started pulling up but now he has mastered the skill of getting back down. Their is the occasional instance when he thinks he can walk and he just lets go and then falls down. When he does decide he can walk or he just gets so excited he loses balance (because he never really holds on, he just kind of leans), he is tending to actually injure himself. I feel bad for my buddy but it is the only way he will learn. Bumps and bruises are what make little boys tuff!!
He has also realized that he can get around the house just as much as we can and is now doing so.

Now instead of staying and playing when I leave the room he follows me wherever I go, crying all the way. Which most of the time it is just frustrating but also so sweet.
Usually when I would come home from the store with him I could put him on his mat and he would play. I would leave the door open so I could bring all the bags in and that was fine. Then for the first time the other day I came walking back from the car and he had crawled out the door onto the carport trying to eat the leaves. It is something I obviously don't want him doing but I just couldn't help but laugh.

When Charles started crawling, he would follow me around crying too. I don't remember how long it lasted, but I went a little crazy for a few weeks. Now Charles does things quietly. I kind of liked the crying at least I knew where and what he was doing.
