Big Foot a.k.a Mommy!!

When you sign up for this pregnancy thing you think that the weight gain will be the biggest problem you have after baby comes, not even close!! By his 2 month b-day I was back to my pre-baby weight without even trying and I was thrilled. Well now my feet won't fit into any of my shoes and I have so much hair falling out , I swear I could have made at least a half dozen wigs by now!!! At this point I just hope the feet growing thing doesn't happen with every child or I'll be wearing Daddy's shoes by the time our family is complete. I suppose my little peanut sure is worth it though!!

Veggie Time

Well for Gabe's first veggie he got squash and he really loves it. He wasn't sure about the first little taste but he ended up eating the entire container of it. He started fussing if I didn't get the spoon to his mouth fast enough. Hopefully he will like more veggies then his Mommy and Daddy do.

He loves to help, he guides the spoon to his mouth. most of the time it causes Mommy to spill it on him so it really isn't as helpful as he thinks it is.

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the Pumpkin Patch down on Lake Morton, Gigi and Pop Pop came to take the pictures. The pictures really turned out great, I was so pleased!! I was nervous about it because Gabe wouldn't take a nap before we went and was grouchy in the car but he was an angel.

Pop Pop can always get Gabe to smile when he makes all his crazy noises!!

As you can tell I couldn't pick because I have so many great ones!!

This was the first time he wore his new brown shoes and

once he saw them he was very interested in them.

Mommy never seems to be in any pictures with her little man, so I wanted to make sure I did. Just my luck most of them turned out blurry!!

Tubby time!

Gabe love taking a shower with me at night and that is what we have been doing since he was less than a month old but now that he is getting bigger, heavy and very wiggly I decided we needed to move into the tub. So Gigi and Pop Pop bought Gabe a tube seat so he can take a bath like a big boy. Last night was his first tubby and he really liked it.

He watched his duckies swim around and played with the water.

4 months

I can hardly believe it, can you???
Well I really don't know where the time has gone, my boy is getting so big. He had his doctor visit yesterday and we have lots of exciting news. Other than the shots, which Gabe handled well, the visit was great. Dr. Ghayal said that Gabe is way ahead of schedule with his rolling over and how well he holds his head up. She also said that it looks like he will have some teeth coming through very soon.

He now weighs 15 lbs. exactly and is 25 1/4 inches tall, his height and weight are in the 50 % and his head still in the 25%. The doctor also said we can start veggies and fruits now so we are very excited about that, we will have posts of that very soon.

Just sittin' around

Gabe is getting really good at sitting up, with a little help from his Boppy of course. So now he loves to play on the floor with his toys. Daddy had to get him an Elmo the other day so Gabe gives him lots of kisses. He also has a giraffe, which is in the pictures that he can hold onto really well. Eventually he gets tired and topples over but he is getting stronger everyday!!

Yum, yum cereal

Gabe is such a big growing boy that he has been having cereal for a couple weeks now. We videoed the first time but had some difficulties editing it so we were not able to post it. I finally remembered to take some pictures the other day of him eating.He really likes it and makes a huge mess for Mommy to clean up. He also loves the spoon he constantly tries to grab it while he's eating, so I let him play with it when he's done.

Lil' Rocker

My friend Tenille gave me these pajamas for Gabe, they were her sons. I thought they were adorable and I had to take some pictures of him in them. We put them on and then put his hair in a mohawk.

After about 20 pictures Gabe was getting a little annoyed with us.

Rolling Over

Gabe has been rolling from his tummy to his back since he was about a month old but only one way. On Monday, October 8th he starting rolling the other way too and we were really excited.
Well I got much more excited when on Tuesday he rolled from his back to his tummy. He was just laying on his playmat and PopPop yelled for me to look and he did it on the first try. The hard part was getting his arm out from under him once he got over. Well he did it again for me later that day on the bed. When Daddy got home he wouldn't and then not yesterday either. Well finally this morning Gabe woke up early (5:30) and ate then Daddy took him out in the living room and put him on the floor and he did it for him, about 5 or 6 times. I finally caught the entire thing on video the very last time so he was grunting and groaning big time, I guess he was pretty worn out.
Well my son is a genius, only 3 1/2 months old and rolling over, what a big boy!!

Workout Buddies!!

We found these basketball shorts for Gabe at a Carter's outlet store and couldn't resist getting them for Gabe since Michael wears them all the time.


Daddy can't wait for Gabe to be able to get out in the "Man Room" and lift some weights together!!

Babysitting

At least once a week I watch Emma for Mandy while she goes to work and we have a ball! Emma is always busy, busy, busy and she keeps us on our toes. Gabe and her have a good time together playing. Gabe loves watching her, I wonder what his little mind is thinking.

One day they will understand how special it is that they are all so close!!
